Stock Market Timings in India for BSE and NSE
The markets begin with a pre-open session. The pre-open time is for 15 minutes. This session will have an order entry period and the order matching period. These sessions are divided into three sub-sessions.
- 9.00 AM -9.08 AM is the entry session.
- 9.08 AM-9.12 AM is matching orders.
- 9.12 AM to 9.15 AM is a buffer period.
The stock market trading time is between 9.15 AM and 3.30 PM from Monday to Friday.
